1. Electrobel is looking for some motivated graphical artists .
Here’s the details:
Electrobel is looking for a couple of graphic artists willing to give a little of their time to the community. In exchange we offer your name on the designs you make, you receive our promotional materials (tshirt, ...) for free, and our eternal gratitude. If you think you are up to it, please check the forum.
This offer is open to non-ebel members as well , so if you know someone, pass the word along.

3. A new musical project coming up ...
Yes yes, there is a new musical collaboration in the making ... It’s a cooperation between Distreality ( yes me ) and Bpolar. The project will release tracks under the name : Distorted Polarity.
A first track is 90% ready, it will be a dark, scapy industrial track. The project however will not limit itself to 1 musical genre, we are working on some dub tracks as we speak. Expect the first track to be released very soon, closely followed by some crunchy, non typical dub songs, combining elements from various genres, resulting in a very personal sound ...

This blog starts with news about the electrobel newsletter. Starting with this month's edition, I will write the electrobel newsletter from now on, in cooperation with Zark. We will try to promote every event including Electrobel artists, VJ crews and so on. This also opens the door to some cross-promotion with Netlabelism.

Electrobel.it proudly presents its official compilation "Electrobel.it's 130", that gathers 14 mixed tracks signed by several artists from the Italian electro-dancefloor scene. The mix, that has been split in tracks, is complete with artwork and printable CD graphic. Electrobel.it thanks Zark, Electrobel.netlabel, IceSun, Silvano Baccoli, Radiolitica, Creative Commons, artists for their awesome support and LaMar Art Studio for the graphic design. The word is out !!!!

Electrobel artist Despoilah just released his first internet release on Kapotte Radio Records ... It’s a full album entitled ‘Pleasure and Pain‘. An energetic album, in real Despo – style, meaning hard beats, hypnotising rhytms with a sauce of distortion, but still with room for some sensitive input ... To wrap this edition up, another interesting release is announced :
Taxidermists' LP "Seconde Peau" is on line for you to download. It contains 14 tracks (192 kbps VBR HQ). The mp3 files are fully tagged (title, artist, style, number and an image for each track). It is divided in two zip files, one for each side of the LP.

My name is Distreality, Producer / DJ. My music varies in style from Dub over Breakbeat to EBM/Industrial. Because I am a hardcore believer of creative freedom, I don't restrict myself to 1 or 2 styles of music ... You can check my stuff here. I will be bloggin here on this site, mainly about Electrobel, the site where you can find my music and much more.

Electrobel (ebel) is Belgium's largest Creative Commons (CC) site.
Founded in 2003 by Zark, ebel's webmaster, the site quickly grew from a handfull of users to a community that today counts over 10.000 tracks from 1000+ users. Recently new portals opened in France, Holland, The UK and Italy.

What is unique about Electrobel is the fact that an artist can upload his music for free, other people can download for free and leave comments, give votes,...thus creating a very interactive environment ... Through electrobel new musical collaborations between artists have been born, making it even more interesting ...
Apart from all this Electrobel also operates as a netlabel, with 5 releases so far, the full album of D-Brane, being the most recent addition...
